1. Agreement to these terms

By using the Generify website you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The site is made available free of charge and for educational purposes only.

2. What this service is

Generify is a QR code generation utility. It does two things, both entirely within your browser:

• It reads a registration QR code image that you upload, and saves the mobile number and account identifier it contains on your device.
• It combines an order ID that you type with that saved identifier to draw an order QR code, which you can download or share.

3. What this service is not

This is the most important part of these terms. Generify does not perform, process, fulfil, confirm or claim any activity that a generated QR code may represent. In particular, it does not:

• place, accept, modify or cancel any order;
• take, hold, process or refund any payment;
• deliver, dispatch or arrange the delivery of any goods or services;
• verify whether an order ID is valid, active, or belongs to you;
• communicate with, or transmit anything to, any platform, merchant or third party.

A QR code produced here is simply an image encoding the text ORD<your order ID>_<your account identifier>. What that text means, and what happens when someone scans it, is entirely determined by whichever separate system you present it to. Generify has no affiliation with, endorsement from, or relationship to any such platform, and claims no rights over any format it encodes.

4. Registration QR codes

This site does not generate registration QR codes and will never ask you to type in a mobile number or any identifier. It only reads a registration QR code that you already hold and choose to upload. You are responsible for having obtained that code legitimately, and for keeping it confidential — anyone with access to your device can read the accounts saved in this browser.

5. Your responsibilities

• Enter order IDs accurately. The site encodes exactly what you type, and cannot detect a mistyped order ID.
• Verify a generated QR code before relying on it for anything that matters.
• Use the site only with accounts and order IDs that belong to you or that you are authorised to use.
• Keep your own device secure. Because all data is stored locally, the security of that data follows the security of your device and browser.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use this site to:

• impersonate another person or use another person’s registration details;
• create QR codes intended to defraud, mislead, or gain unauthorised access to any system;
• break any applicable law or the terms of any platform you present a QR code to;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site.

7. Availability

The site is provided free of charge and may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time without notice. Since order history is stored only on your device and expires after 24 hours, you should not treat it as a durable record of anything.

8. No warranty

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. There is no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every QR code will be readable by every scanner, or that any generated code will be accepted by any third-party system.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of this site — including any loss arising from an incorrect, rejected or misused QR code, or from the loss of locally stored accounts or order history.

10. Intellectual property

The Generify name, logo and site design are protected. The QR code images you generate are yours to use.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
